Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi to Chandigarh

Ride departure from Delhi. 270km. Overnight Chandigarh.

Day 2

Chandigarh to Manali (310km)

Ride through Shimla and Kullu Valley to Manali.

Day 3

Manali u2014 Rest and Acclimatisation

Rest day. Gear check, acclimatisation, and Rohtang Pass excursion.

Day 4

Manali to Jispa via Rohtang Pass (110km)

Dramatic ride over Rohtang Pass (3,978m) and through Lahaul Valley.

Day 5

Jispa to Sarchu via Baralacha La (180km)

Cross Baralacha La (4,890m). Camp at Sarchu (4,253m).

Day 6

Sarchu to Pang via Lachulung La and Nakee La (80km)

Three passes in one day. Camp at Pang.

Day 7

Pang to Leh via Tanglang La (200km)

Cross Tanglang La (5,359m) u2014 one of the world's highest motorable passes. Arrive Leh.

Day 8

Leh u2014 Acclimatisation and City Exploration

Rest. Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, and Shanti Stupa.

Day 9

Leh to Khardung La (5,359m) and Nubra Valley

Ride Khardung La. Descend to the sand dunes of Nubra Valley.

Day 10

Nubra Valley u2014 Pangong Tso Lake

Drive to the iconic Pangong Tso (4,225m) u2014 the blue-green lake of three Idiots fame.

Day 11

Pangong Tso to Leh

Return to Leh via Chang La pass.

Day 12

Leh u2014 Departure

Fly out or begin return journey.
